About Our Business
R&T Truck has a history of freight brokerage
going back to the early '60's. Ownership
changed in 1995 and the company continues
to specialize in cotton hauling in all the
southern states of the U.S. We do have
access to flatbeds, step decks, vans and reefers.
We have averaged approximately 6,000 loads
annually for the last 6 years. In addition to the
U.S., a large portion of our revenue is from moving
freight in Mexico.
Laredo Cotton Transfer started in 1997 in
Laredo as a transloading point for cotton
going into Mexico. We have two transloading
facilities, served by the Union Pacific and
two facilities served by KCS Railroad.
Our core rail-served warehouse space covers
208,000 square feet, and our flex space
(for trucks only) provides another 190,000
square feet. We are ready to handle baled
cotton or palletized non-hazmat freight,
and various steel products.
